Oh no. 2008 is ending in less than less than 8 hours and i haven't written my dedication post to important people in 2008. I know I promised to write it, but .. :( I'm seriously lazy, and very tired after the cambodia trip.

Which reminds me: After a very tiring but fun trip, I came home to discover that I got Christmas cards from Singapore! (: All the weariness suddenly went away as I tore open the cards and read them one by one. (:

Anyway, about the trip. It was great! I enjoyed cambodia a lot, as compared to china. I guess china has too many temples and historical story. Cambodia wasn't as boring. And contrary to my previous post, we had lots of food! (: We had one buffet lunch and one buffet dinner and the other meals were just as great! I'm definitely fatter now, please don't laugh at me. :(

Angkor Wat was beautiful (: Though the only regret is that they closed off the highest tower because of restoration work. :( That was a pity because the view from there is really great, as lots of people have mentioned. The steps are really steep though, scary sia.

I wonder what my new year resolutions are. I never keep the resolutions though, some are seriously unrealistic. (: But i'll try to exercise more next year, be initiative enough to keep in touch with friends, and to ... make the right decision on uni, though that will prove to be rather hard.

Hello i'm back from a long break after the 'sad' news below.
I wasn't sad people, don't worry (:

Yeah so lots of things happen the past two days.

1. Undang test!

That had to be the worst time spent ever. We reached the place at 8 plus, and then waited all the way and only took our test at 3! Gosh, they're SO efficient, aren't they. We just ate and talked and redid the theory exercise book in between. (; that was enough to motivate me not to fail. I never want to wait so long for a 45 minutes test ever again. And we passed! (: with flying colours ! (: Suen got 50/50 and me and seira got 48/50! (:

Next up, practical. *yikes*

2. Christmas eve cum mum's bday dinner at Eastin Hotel
Buffet dinner. (: Yes, my mum's bday is on christmas eve. Cool right? (: So we went there to celebrate, the decorations were pretty. Balloons and all. (: We surprise mum all the time, so she wasn't surprised when the waiter showed up with a cheesecake for her. But she didn't expect the gold earring and perfume though (: Yay. I call that a success.

I've finally finished season 7 of smallville (:
Interesting twist to the story, but it must be the happiest season so far.
To me, at least, because i'm a fairytale person.
'.. and they live happily ever after.'

I tried to watch gossip girl because house was getting a little dry,
but nah, it just seems so, plastic. I mean, the characters, of course.
It's like a series version of 'mean girls'.
Oh, the suitable word would be : dramatic, I suppose. That would be apt, considering it is a drama series after all. (:

Anyway, I haven't done much these few days.
I went for chuch and met denise (:
I went for the dental appointment which pained me like hell,
but i hope my teeth is cleaner now. (:
I met up with amanda, and the rest which I've met at least once already. [I've seen winston for like what, 5 times? Not that i'm complaining.(:]

So i went fishing today.
Had major headache so I just watched while mum and dad fished.
They caught lots of fish!
Granted, its easier as its not just any river or lake,
but a pond in mum's friend's orchard.
But I tried to fish yeah? Gave up after 3 attempts when the fish stole my food without getting hooked and i got tired holding the fishing rod. (:
Anyways the fish are meant to be eaten.
eeee. Me don't like freshwaterfish.

I hate my hotmail inbox la.

finally went out with friends again today.

And as usual the guys who turned up were twice the amount of girls.

Decided not to go for nicholas openhouse because it's going to be an all guy gayish party. Don't want to bear witness to anything that might happen in his house. LOL. Just kidding. (: Anyway smallville was calling me so I headed home.

I'm leaving Singapore today.
Leaving the lion city and going HOME.
Like, finally the day has arrived.
And of course I have mixed feelings.
Though its easy to say which feeling is more prominent.

WAIT before I start emo-ing can I comment about me being prom queen again?
Yeah, I still feel I don't deserve it coz there are many more deserving girls out there who did not win because they did not have mean friends who sabo-ed them so guys please don't call me prom queen anymore. :( I just don't feel comfortable. hehe. (:


Okay back to me leaving.
Yesterday was like a farewell day.

Firstly I met up with veron nweijie and shaam.
We had pasta for lunch at cineleisure and chatted awhile there.
Shaam was being really petty because I lost his flower during prom.
LOL. Just kidding. (:

Then I met up with my classmates: yilin des wanchin char jerm ceph glen.
We watched BOLT!
Gosh I can't believe i'm actually recommending my friends to watch it, i don't normally like animated movies but BOLT is really good! (:
We went to nydc for dessert after that.

Then, (: I met up with the most important person- vince. <3
at my hostel. LOL.
We sat at the place overlooking the swimming pool and chatted.
Until quite late, and then he went home. (:



So it is now 6th December.
The day has finally arrived.
I feel so ... excited in a way.

I've cried enough for the past few days.
I hope I don't cry later.
Coz no matter what I HAVE to leave.
I can't stay here forever.

When I came to Singapore I know that I was going to leave.
So I didnt expect the two years to be any special as it is now.
I just wanted to come and go,
and leave quietly.

But then life turned out to be great here.
In fact, it turned out to be perfect.
I had everything I wanted.
I had great friends,
and I met someone new. (:

Gosh. All the memories are tugging at me now,
refusing to let go. :(
But I shall say here a big THANK YOU to everyone who made my stay in Singapore so wonderful! (:
You guys know who you are.
My class, odacmates, vince, hostelmates .. other friends. (:
You guys have been a great bunch of friends to be around and i'll definitely miss you all when I'm gone.

I hope I have been a good friend to all of you.
I hope I had an impact on your lives just as you all did on mine. (:
These two years are definitely unforgettable and I will never forget the happy times I had here.
I see great things for the friendship I built here, and I hope it lasts as long as possible.
