HELLO (:
I went for a job interview this morning. Wasn't expecting to get it anyway, since I was a short term thingy. Anyway the job interview was kind of fun. It was a group talk and a group interview. Actually its more of an individual get to know you session just that they do it one to one, take turns. You know, like 'okay you first', 'next.. you.' That's all. Not like we had to talk to each other or something. Ruwaine and I didn't get it coz they didn't want short term people. But nevertheless it was a good experience, though I'm sure most interviews are not like this. Reminds me of the cruel NUS interviewers. Haha.
Jetstar is like a very happy place to work at. Almost all of them are people like my age or at most 24 probably. And the walls are colourful, like got paintings, rainbows and everything. They have balloons hanging down from the ceiling. O.o Their tables are colourful. And they have a pantry, which has a big tv. It's so cool. I want to work in a happy place next time too. One where I do not have to wear formal clothes. That makes things so much happier. You know, the typical formal clothes are black white grey brown dark blue and stripes and checks. Boring. I want to work where there are polka dots, triangles, octagons...
Okay so if kumon doesn't call me up tomorrow, i bu zhi dao zhen me ban. :(
What to do? Where to work? :(
MAXIS scholarship is krazieee. I need to draw some 'my maxis my life' drawing with my mouse okay! It's like drawing on paint! O.o how hard is that. I did it for like half an hour, erasing here and there. And when I pressed submit the system logged out. WAH! :( Sad, now must re-draw.
Everyday i change my decision. Today is imperial day. (: Just because it's imperial. And it sounds so cool.

Well today to give you guys a break, I shall not mention any uni stuff here, although I must state that the post below is not my final decision due to the very long duration of time which I have to make my decision by and differing advices from parents and friends each day. But thanks though for everyone's advices! (:
So last night I was watching csi, and then I realized gosh I have watched so many series this holidays. And so many movies, on the laptop I mean.
House Season 1 to 5 (still ongoing) Grey's Season 1 to 5 (still ongoing too) Smallville Season 5 to 7 (I'm waiting for 8 to finish!) HIMYM Season 1 to 3 (Waiting for 4) Chuck Season 1 (Waiting for 2) CSI Season 7 and 5 now.
Okay that's not a lot. But to think that I spent my time doing that seems like .. WOW. O.o
And not to mention blog hopping and blog-window shopping. I've read like a thousand blogs, watched thousands of videos on youtube and funnyordie and read websites like fmylife.com and collegehumour.com. And As for blog window shopping, I just spend hours looking at blogshops wanting to own those clothes but I am to lazy to fill in the form, bank in the money and yadda yadda yadda. I think I rather re wear clothes. Geesh, I'm that lazy.
And what else have I done. Oh, EAT! Yes EAT a lot! Everyday stay at home makan like there's no tomorrow. Koko krunch is the current craze. After sugus and gummybears. I miss sugus. :( Although mum kinda doesnt want me eating so much. Diabetes kononnya. Or maybe my teeth will drop out.
Well one's thing for sure, my only goal for this holidays, I failed to meet: EXERCISING.
Hahahahahaa. I cannot count how many times I've said I'm gonna start exercising but since it never gets done i'm gonna abolish that goal with 'ahh whatever la'. But today, winston asked me to go jogging with him! So we went. And AIYO so out of shape. So malu. :( Haha. Winston gets like so excited over soya bean. ... I still am not very sure why.
I'm am currently using google chrome on my laptop. It's quite nice. (: I like safari and google chrome. Though don't ask me why, it's just the feeeling. Haha.
Okay CSI. I'm so happy greg sanders passed his proficiency. Though he got the person wrong, and the manner of death wrong. Anyway, yeah. lalala. BUHBYE.

I posted this on facebook few days ago: DILEMMA: law and actuarial/commerce in Australia or maths and stats in Imperial College? :(
And honestly, ANU is winning man.
Today I thought about it. My future. (: Really! But not too far to the extent that I'm married, pregnant with twins and living in my own apartment in Kuala Lumpur. Just to the extent of Uni life and which I would prefer: Australia and London.
Okay first up, the course. Law and actuarial science is hands down a much more superior course than Maths and Statistics, correct? Okay. So then ANU 1 Imperial 0.
Secondly, the university. According to times QS ranking, imperial is 6th, anu is 16th. Can I add that NUS is 33 or 30 or sth? (: Hehe. (: jk jk. Anyway, okay. ANU 1 Imperial 1.
Thirdly, the place. Australia and London are both pretty places. Australia, can visit Australia. London, can visit Europe. Okay, this one I must admit London is better. So, ANU 1 Imperial 2.
Fourthly, the food. Australia has definitely more asian food as compared to London although I know london is getting increasingly more asian-populated but australia definitely wins in this. ANU 2 Imperial 2.
Fifthly, the money. Pounds are freaking crazy. Aussie dollar is 2.6 and pounds are 5.3. Haha. It sounds cheaper to go to Australia and also coz my aus course is 5 years compared to uk 3 years and they cost the same. Aus more worth it. And also I'll feel less bad spending money! I think. ANU 3 Imperial 2.
Sixthly, the language. Haha. I know I've blogged about this before. But then I realize that Australia's accent is quite sexy too, due to the influence of a certain someone called:: HUGH JACKMAN. Haha. And chase, on house. Super sexy. Okay and Brit accent is nice too. So this is a draw. No points added for both. ANU 3 Imperial 2.
Seventhly, the people. I have this notion resulting from rumours that aussies are pretty racist. I don't know about london-ers though. But maybe it's because asians are awesome. (: Haha. Anyway, the people generally doesn't apply here because in both cases we'll probably be mixing with ourselves. Hence I should actually make this a point about friends. ANU I have joseph ting and veron dar. Imperial I have xingxian. Taking both quantity and quality into picture, ANU wins. If I can pull people to go with me I'll prolly have Suen Xin Lek Wen and Nelson. And also, if I go visiting around Australia to Sydney Brisbane Melboune Adelaide.. I have Lydia, Hueywen, Amanda, Sunil, Nat Ng and Josh Ng, Teng Jun.. LOL Beats London hands down. Although a few hours by train from London and i'll reach glasgow where joanna is gonna graduate a doctor from. I doubt that will matter coz she'll be too busy studying. Haha. (: Without doubt, ANU wins again! ANU 4 Imperial 2.
I think that's about it. (: Verdict? ANU ! YOU WIN! *mimicks street fighter*
COME COME ALL GO ANU SAMA SAMA.
I have no regrets not applying law for UK because right, UK doesnt have double degrees and I refuse to do law unless I have something interesting like maths to keep me sane. (:
NOW I JUST NEED TO WAIT FOR ANU's OFFER LETTER. IF THEY REJECT ME, I'M GOING IMPERIAL (:

Hi it's been almost a week since I blogged. Wow. (; *claps claps* NUS interview is over. I know I'm going to sound like i'm sour grapes if i say this after I don't get law in NUS so i decided to say this now: NUS interviews are really pissing off. As in, they just keep demeaning you and belittle-ing you, making you feel so annnoyed and irritated. They just treat you like you're some gullible person and whatever you say its wrong anyway. I mean, it's correct to spark some argument to test my skills but you don't have to do it in a 'seriously?' kind of tone and look. After I went for the USP interview which I didnt prepare for and got blasted for it, I was like 'I'm so glad I didnt prepare for it coz I don't want to be working with those professors man.' Now the NUS law faculty is giving me the same feeling. It's like the more interviews i go in NUS, the more I want to stay away. I was going to say singapore interviewers but then I realized its quite unfair coz I've only been to interviews from MOE and NUS. The MOE one was rather mean too. But yeah, i shall not say singapore because I heard SMU interviews were quite okay and happy. (:
As compared to the interviews I've been like for Oxford and for SC interview. The people are so much nicer. Eventhough what you say is wrong, they just smile and accept it, giving some comments along the way. And they don't give you the 'you're so stupid' kind of look. Even the oxford lady was so friendly and she's from like one of the top universities in the world. I'm probably super stupid and young and immature compared to her students but she still treated me nice.
See? learn from that, NUS. Before you scare all your other applicants away. But i guess NUS the culture itself already does the 'scaring people away' work for you. Haha. (: The only saving grace is its cost. Okay. No offence to singaporeans btw.You guys are great.Anyway, it's back to slacking again, after the one week of interviews and tests. Oh. DRIVING! YEAH, i passed my driving test like finally! So I can legally drive now (: Awesome. In the mean time, i'm busy writing my resume looking for a job. Still considering kumon in centrepoint, but I really don't like kids la. How? :( As in, I don't hate them, but I don't know how to talk to them, how to act like a kid and cheer them up and all those stuff. you know. I think it's pretty lame and awkward. I miss badminton.

Hello, as most people would have known by now, I passed/failed half my driving exam. While some may see it as half empty, i see it as half full. ... Yeah, seriously, I passed my road part but failed the parking part, which imo, was just because the guy wanted money. Is this a sensitive issue? I hope not, but yeah. Screw you bribery. Screw you. I'm going to retake the test, and hope I don't bump into another greedy orang. Sigh, malaysia. Anyway, interviews coming up tomorrow and friday! Excited much. (: LALALA. (: LALALA. LALALA. oh, oh, we surprised bobby yesterday at gardens. (: Suen me wernchia nelson and seira. He was really surprised eh! (: I think he's so fun to tipu. Our acting sucked so badly but he still didn't realize it was his bday surprise all the way until the waiter showed up with the bday cake. lalala. so proud of us. We talked and ate for like 3 hours, i'm surprised the italiannies waiters didn't shoo us away. Though there was no reason to: the italiannies in gardens is SO HUGE! it's like four times the size of one-u's. Towards the end i was rather stoned though, I only slept for two hours the day before. Nerves. Yeah. LALALA. BYEBYE.

Okay. I'm very worried right now. :( My inbox is gone. This is SO BAD. All the important uni app emails, and scholarship interview notifications, and EVERYTHING is in there. This is BAD. Why is it gone? :( I hope it's just cause hotmail is screwed up today. What if somebody hacked into my account? And deleted all my mails :( See this is whats written: WHAT nonsense?? :( anyway i initially open blogger up because I wanted to blog about goodnews about interviews. First I got the law interview for NUS next weekend, and second Securities Commission called me up and I have an interview there next wednesday. (: Which is AWESOME. (: And, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak our new PM has announced his new cabinet line-up yesterday. It seems good (: But what do i know yeah. Khairy's not in. hmm. And oh, i was reading the newspaper and DSNTR (short form la, i lazy) said that quote The Star 'awarding of scholarships to bright students should be based on merit and not on race'. Hmmm. Hopefully its not an empty promise. Though I doubt much can be done after all there is a majority race in Msia. And I thnk this phrase is one of those previous 'all talk but no action' thing. I am feeling better bout my vanishing inbox thing now coz KaiChi has the same problem too. (; Yay. I feel sangat relieved. Positive words does work i tell you (: Sorry rotten english.

Today, I'm going to practice positive energy and optimism:
I AM GOING TO PASS MY DRIVING TEST. I AM GOING TO PASS IT WITHOUT BRIBING (500 bucks wei). O.o I AM GOING TO PRESS ACCELERATOR KAO KAO WHEN IM ON THE SLOPE. I AM GOING TO DO A PERFECT PARKING AND 3-POINT TURN. I AM NOT GOING TO BUMP ANY CURBS AT ANY TIME. I AM GOING TO DRIVE LIKE A PRO ON THE ROAD. I AM GOING TO (as kayaun says) PRETEND MY GRANDFATHER OWNS THE ROAD. I AM GOING TO PASS MY DRIVING TEST.
Okay, now on to uni app.
I AM GOING TO BE SHORTLISTED FOR LAW IN NUS. I AM GOING TO SCORE MY INTERVIEW AND TEST FOR NUS. I AM GOING TO BE SHORTLISTED FOR GIC, SC, SHELL SCHOLARSHIP. I AM GOING TO KICK SOME ASS DURING MY INTERVIEWS. I AM GOING TO RECEIVE OFFER LETTER FROM ANU SOON.
Now, on to life.
I AM GOING TO BECOME SUPER SLIM. I AM GOING TO HAVE PERFECT SKIN. (: MY HAIR IS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME EVERYONE WILL COVER THEIRS IN SHAME. XD
Okay, in a few days time i'll tell you whether this 'reciting positive words into your mind' thing works. (: Toodles.

I don't like twitter and chatboxes anymore. Oh I have my reasons.(: Today was driving lesson number 4. Maybe it's because of the grand prix, but i feel like an awesome driver already. PRO, okay. Winston I treat you go makan when I pass okay. I had my driving lesson today went F1 was on so I didnt get the chance to watch it through. Saw the beginning though, and a pity that they had to stop 'cause of the rain. Why does Brawn keep winning? It's not even a nice name. Okay kidding. But seriously, why Button. I want to see people like Fisichella win it, coz they're been there like since forever. And,what happened to KIMI RAIKKONEN. :( Today was Palm Sunday. Children waving palms, what a nice sight. (: I have a reason why I should go UK instead of Aus. British accent is way more classy than australia's. But in any way US sounds the worst, in my opinion. No offence yeah, its still MUCH MUCH better than Manglish or Singlish. So, anyway I rank in Brit>Aus>American and all the way to the bottom we have the abovementioned Manglish and Singlish. Me thinks the fomer comes before the latter in the best local accent/slang ranking. Me orang Malaysia. Malaysia boleh!
New PrimeMinister. Yay and yikes. Nottingham grad. Hmmm. Mix blood? (: Hope so.I don't know what I'm talking about.

is unfair.I know people reading my blog recently are probably put off by all my uni and scholarship rantings and all but sorry eh, that's pretty much my life now, as i have stressed so many times here. I looked up the definition of 'scholarship' in the dictionary. *okay, correction, I AM looking it up now and its taking forever to load, seriously internet sucks these few days, msn is a bitch and facebook is so slow and i cant open websites. Screwmyx sucks.* Okay forget it, wanted to rant about how scholarships in Malaysia are screwed up and all. How they don't offer to the deserving people, and how the unfairness in the criteria seeing as most people don't reveal their true particulars ... *I'm trying to mask my meaning but i think it's pretty obvious.* UNFAIR. :( The world we live in, is unfair.
No offence to anyone, yeah. I'm just saying the situation is unfair. Don't hate the players, hate the game. (EEE! How i met your mother quote again!)
Okay, something totally unrelated: I think i have phobia for driving!
I mean, i get nervous the day before driving lessons, and I have been having sleepless nights and dreams about my driving tests already! :( Like it's on next next monday, but I'm dreading it so badly. :(
I foresee myself failing, and failing, and failing, and create history by being the first person to ever resit the test 100 times. (; Cool right, malaysia book of records. The biggest failure in driving. Don't jealous kay, when my name is in there. The first week of april was totally uneventful. TOTALLY. I'm so bored that i'm on facebook all the time, and that's quite sad indeed. But now I need to scan my family photos in the computer so I'm looking through like my baby photos last time and gosh was i a fat baby. XD Luckily I'm not fat now. But aiyah, so fat and cute la, makes me like kids. (;
*recalls Marshall in HIMYM: pudgy arms... they make you old*
Hmmm. Okay on second thought, I still don't like kids. Sorry.
This has been a random post indeed. Right, and true to my HIMYM obesssion, I shall end off with this:
'When i'm sad, i stop being sad, and I be awesome instead. True story. '

Hello. If you're observant enough, you will notice I've added a widget to my blog: Twitter. It's the IN thing now, according to times magazine: facebook without the facebook. It's basically just a website where you can update short messages about 'what you are doing now'. . . Actually you don't have to have twitter to do that , you can just type on your chatbox, or on facebook, or on msn. But yeah, twitter's the trend baby. At least in the US, it's the trend. (: Hasn't hit Malaysia yet though, I haven't heard of many people who twitter-s. So, people, join in the TREND, and join twitter! Though there's nothing much to see there, except a camwhore photo of me, which is the same as my current msn pic. There you go, a picture of my short hair. A nice one. XD Anyway, be like me, a blind follower of the trend (:Though I don't normally follow trends, like how I don't like skinny jeans and japanese food. Though that's not a trend, but I just have to say it, I mean, RAW fish? Fulamak. Raw fish. Vinegar rice. Orange jellyballs. Seriously, why do you people like jap food?

Profile
Hi. I'm Jocelyn. This is my profile as you can see. (: I am still searching for my path in life. Cliché much? I need advice guidance and this is just a journal of my daily happenings. I love food. And I love people. Actually well, I don’t. Not all the time, at least. I don’t listen to music much for some reason although I do like music. I like dancing, I think I’m quite okay at it but I wouldn’t dare to dance in public. Something about shaking your body in public just doesn’t seem right. I hate backstabbers. Don’t like me then say it straight to my face you don’t have to act all shy about it. Though I know I’m pretty lovable. That’s a lie.
